Rich Rose

Owner & Founder

With 20+ years in the industry, Rich started Ridgewood Home Construction after learning the craft in his father’s remodeling company. He brings deep experience in kitchens, baths, and basements—and loves helping homeowners bring their vision to life. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with his wife Teresa and their daughters.

Teresa Rose

Office Manager

Teresa oversees day-to-day operations at Ridgewood Home Construction, including scheduling, estimating, and bookkeeping. She holds both an accounting degree and an MBA from Grand Valley State. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her reading, gardening, or enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Alissa Wertz

Designer

With over 20 years in interior and exterior design, Alissa helps clients create beautiful, functional spaces tailored to their lifestyle. She studied at WMU and Kendall College and is a Certified Color Expert with Benjamin Moore. Outside the office, she loves baking, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.

Travis has been with Ridgewood Home Construction since 2014 and is known for his friendly attitude and attention to detail. He’s always willing to go the extra mile to help homeowners and team members alike. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, backpacking, and being outdoors.

Once the design and scope are finalized, we transition to construction. Our team follows a well-documented process and schedule, maintaining open communication and a clean jobsite throughout. You’ll always know who’s on site, what’s happening, and when.

We conduct a final walkthrough to ensure every detail meets our high standards, and yours. After your project is complete, we provide warranty coverage to give you peace of mind. We want you to feel confident not just in your new space, but in the team that built it.

This role is for an experienced carpenter who is able to work independently on a variety of carpentry tasks, as directed by the Lead Carpenter. This individual will be responsible for tool maintenance and maintaining adequate supply inventory.
Lead Carpenterexpand_more
The Lead Carpenter is responsible for completing and overseeing construction work of all Carpenters and Experienced Carpenters while maintaining efficient use of time. Responsibilities include monitoring the calendar for carpentry projects and planning accordingly, communicating expectations and procedures to carpenters on all carpentry-related projects, leading brief production meetings every day with the construction team, training less experienced employees in all aspects of construction, monitoring project schedules, meeting project deadlines, and overseeing shop inventory.
