We’re looking for a carpenter who will perform various tasks under the supervision of the Lead Carpenter. This is a great opportunity to gain experience doing a variety of carpentry-related tasks, including but not limited to framing, finish carpentry, decks, etc.

This role is for an experienced carpenter who is able to work independently on a variety of carpentry tasks, as directed by the Lead Carpenter. This individual will be responsible for tool maintenance and maintaining adequate supply inventory.

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for completing and overseeing construction work of all Carpenters and Experienced Carpenters while maintaining efficient use of time. Responsibilities include monitoring the calendar for carpentry projects and planning accordingly, communicating expectations and procedures to carpenters on all carpentry-related projects, leading brief production meetings every day with the construction team, training less experienced employees in all aspects of construction, monitoring project schedules, meeting project deadlines, and overseeing shop inventory.

The Project Manager schedules projects in coordination with homeowners and trade partners. Responsibilities include ordering materials as needed, reviewing project details with Lead Carpenter before a project begins, visiting each project to review progress and address questions and concerns, ensuring timely delivery of products, updating clients regularly, and overseeing project inventory management.

The Design Assistant is responsible for assisting the Lead Designer with all things design at Ridgewood Home Construction. This individual will create basic cabinet layouts for estimating purposes, document client selections, participate in design meetings with clients when the Lead Designer requests additional support, update selections documentation as changes arise, upload selections related estimates as directed by the Lead Designer, answer client questions about selections, and maintain the sample material library in the showroom. The Design Assistant must be willing and available to occasionally pick up and deliver materials to job sites and gather sample materials from vendors for client design meetings.
